These are the pictures that Hodder and Stoughton selected for inclusion in the book. Not, probably the choice I would have made from the vast number available... though Flat-iron is a bit of a classic! (Consider that it was shot,in 1981, under expedition conditions.)

These have been scanned in directly from the book, so apologies to the photographers for loss in quality.
